‘Every time he sees me he says, “I didn’t do that,” and I really believe, that when he tells me that, he means it,’ Trump says after meeting Putin at Vietnam summit.

The simple fact remains: Donald Trump is flaccid on Russia and deferential to its president Vladimir Putin.

This is a fact and it is indisputable. Trump is soft on Russia and it should promote a rigorous conversation regarding the possible reasons for Trump’s reverence for a political enemy and a vigorous actor in its continuing attacks on American sovereignty and especially its blatant meddling in american elections.

Trump remains mute and that should be troubling to the elected representatives in both houses.

The Republican lawmakers have neglected their duty to the country by ignoring this putative traitor in their midst. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell choose to ignore the president’s reticence in the whole matter of Russian meddling and they will be held to account when future historians examine their role in this hijacking of a democracy.

So why is Donald Trump ignoring this pivotal pushback on Putin and a regime that is slicing the fibers of American democracy? The only reasonable explanation is that the Russian oligarchs, in league with Putin’s apparatchiks, have some information, important information, vis Trump and his real estate empire. By information we mean damning evidence of money laundering, tax evasion and other hijinx undertaken by the siblings and maestro of the Trump dynasty.

Pee tapes with Russian hookers? They might exist, but really, sexual transgressions, while embarrassing, and possibly fodder for blackmail, would not rise to the standard of impeachment, the articles of which call for high crimes and misdemeanours. Money laundering on the other hand involves conspiracy on a grand scale and that, plus Russia’s extortion of the principle, would be enough to sink the Trump presidency. Come to think of it? Pee tapes, especially in his discussions with James Comey, when he was still FBI director, do seem to preoccupy the pea-brained president of the USA. So, that opens residual speculation of the sitting president as a dangling pawn of whoever (Putin) may be in possession of the tapes.

Why else would Trump continue to disregard sanctions and allow Putin to maim the democracy? Trump brags that he is tough on Russia, “no one is stronger on Russia than me,” says Benedict Donald. The facts belie the boast.

When faced with such phony meanders any sane lawmaker should ask why the president continues to remain soft on Putin. Occam’s Razor provides that the simplest explanation might be the best solution. The simplest explanation for Trump’s lethargy on all things Russian is extortion. The Russians and specially Putin have something incriminating on Trump.

Newly surfaced emails indicate that Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who met with Trump campaign associates in 2016, once worked with Russia’s chief legal office in an effort to thwart the Justice Department, The New York Times reported on Friday.

But the newspaper now reports that in the interview with NBC News set to air on Friday, she says, “I am a lawyer, and I am an informant,” and that since 2013, she has been “actively communicating with the office of the Russian prosecutor general.”

Donald Trump Jr set up the meeting with the Russian Kompromat and there is now evidence that he phoned his dad just prior to the session. Trump Sr. lied to the press about the meeting telling Jr. to say that the meeting was about adoptions. It was not about adoptions and telling his son to tell people that it was is obstruction of justice, and if the GOP cared about such stuff we would already have impeached this president.

The June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower is an area of inquiry in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into whether anyone from the Trump campaign colluded with Russians to meddle in the election. Donald Trump Jr., then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, among others, were in attendance. Emails have revealed that Trump Jr. accepted the meeting on the premise that he would be offered incriminating information on Hillary Clinton by way of the Russian government.
Trump Jr. has said the meeting was unproductive and that instead of providing dirt on Clinton, Veselnitskaya tried to lobby the Trump campaign on repealing 2012 sanctions.

Donald Trump Sr is the Manchurian Candidate.

The sooner lawmakers and the world gets it?

The sooner that this scrofulous human is charged with high crimes and misdemeanours and removed from office.
